Our 100% Pure New Wool Kilt Jackets are made to measure. They are smartest when worn with a waistcoat. If you wear a tweed jacket without a waistcoat, it is quite common to wear a belt - BUT it should be a day belt: this is typically a wide brown leather belt with a standard brass buckle . However, if you wear a waistcoat you should not wear a belt.

Argyll Tweed Jacket- Std Size
The Argyll Tweed Jacket is our most popular day jacket. It comes with traditional horn buttons.

This jacket normally has the gauntlet cuffs (with three horizontal buttons) as shown but the so-called Braemar cuffs (where you have three vertical buttons as in the Prince Charlie Coatee) are possible.

If you wish epaulets you have a choice of plain or none.

These jackets are made to order. Experience has taught us that most people can get away with a standard stock size. If you need a more personalised cut then we can do so (see above). Made to order and can take 6-8 weeks.
