Length

As with a kilt, there is some argument about the correct length of hose.  At one time the hose came to just above the calf.  Most people now would prefer the top of the hose to reach to a maximum height of three fingers below the knee cap.  Others prefer it slighlty lower and sugggest up to five fingers below knee cap.  Its your choice.  Just decide and then measure the distance from the top of the hose too the floor.  

Calf 

This is the circumference around the widest part of your calf - measured in inches.

Shoe size

Please give us your UK shoe size.  To convert your US shoe size to UK simply take a half off..  For example size 9.5 US mens size is equivalent to size 9 UK.
