Our Hand Stitched KiltsOur Hand Stitched Kilts
Our hand stitched kilts are made by skilled craftsmen in the heart of Scotland. All are made to order and generally take six weeks from order to despatch. See here to understand why our kilts are so good!

The kilt is normally pleated 'to the sett' (this is where the pleats are arranged so that the sett of the tartan is maintained as shown here) but you may have it pleated 'to the stripe' (this was the usual manner for regimental kilts where the back of the kilt was pleated to show a broad stripe - the sett only appearing when the pleats opened when the kilt was 'swinging').

Our special order tartans are made from cloth woven specifically for you on an old shuttle loom. This has the traditional kilt selvedge that is almost invisible and is essential to the purist.

Our master kilt maker has years of experience in measuring and sizing people. He has this MEASUREMENT FORM advice to help you order your kilt online. (The prices below are for an 8 yard kilt which will fit up to size 47 inch hips. Larger sizes are no problem - just email for a quote.)
