The Kenmore Doublet is a "single breasted" jacket, worn buttoned up and without a waistcoat. It is always worn with a belt, and normally with lace jabot & cuffs. Alternatively some people wear a highland cravat.
Kenmore Trews Outfit The Kenmore Trews Outfit is suitable for fairly formal evening events - black tie but not white tie. It is traditionally made from Velvet, but is now also made in Barathea Wool. The Kenmore Doublet is a "single breasted" jacket, worn buttoned up and without a waistcoat. It is always worn with a belt, and normally with lace jabot & cuffs. Alternatively some people wear a highland cravat. With this outfit the trews have to come high on the waist so that no unsightly gap can be seen between the jacket (which is much shorter tan a normal mens jacket) and the waistband.
