Our Balmoral DoubletsOur Balmoral Doublets
The Balmoral Kilt Doublet is suitable for formal evening events, both black tie and white tie. It is traditionally made from Velvet, but is now also made in Barathea Wool.

The Balmoral Doublet is a "single breasted" jacket, generally worn buttoned up and without a waistcoat. It is usually worn with a belt, and black bow tie (as shown but these items are not included). Shown here in green velvet. It can be worn less formally unbuttoned - in this case the belt would be worn round the kilt (under the jacket).

Available in Velvet or Barathea.

Similar to a Kenmore but with a flat collar, this jacket is favoured by HRH Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay and he can be seen wearing it here at Balmoral. You may view him at BBC News  
Experience has taught us that most people can get away with a standard stock size. If you are not a standard size then we can cut to your measurements - in which case you are strongly advised to get properly measured by a tailor. Most tailors will be happy to complete our MEASUREMENT FORM - for a small fee. You should then enter these measurements online when ordering.
